The difference between this microwave and the one we replaced is night and day. We love it. It simple to use. It aesthetically pleasing. The white inside provides a good clear look inside. You never think about power, but this microwave seems to pack a good punch. Items are much hotter or warmer in about the same or less time compared to our old microwave. It was a great purchase.

This microwave replaced a 10 year old LG model. We also replaced the range at the same time. On this microwave we ended up turning off the clock because the font was different than the range, which was distracting. Another feature that I don™€™t care for is the power level setting. You need to keep pressing the power level button until you reach the desired level.. The sensor cook and reheat features work well, therefore I don™€™t really use the power level. Other than that I love the features of this microwave. The add 10 or 30 sec is great. This microwave is also way quieter than the old microwave.

So far so good. This microwave replaces one that worked for 25 years. Too soon to judge longevity for this one. But comparing the two, this one works just as well. What I like more? The construction seems more solid, the light over the stove is much brighter so I can see what I™€™m cooking better, and I™€™m able to adjust the volume on the sound. Neutral? The fan on high seems a bit louder, the other 2 speeds are okay. Negative? I don™€™t like the position of the settings button. It™€™s too easy to press by accident. We would have preferred it away from buttons we™€™d normally use.

Replacement for my 13 year old Frigidaire OTR microwave

I recently replaced my old Frigidaire Gallery OTR microwave. Its been a solid performer that I use everyday but recently the keypad started acting up. I decided that since the microwave was 13 years old replacement was the best option. And, Black Friday deals made the decision a no brainer. I bought an exact replacement Gallery series microwave because I love all the features of the original and it made installation a breeze because I could use the original wall bracket and mounting holes.My entire kitchen is Frigidaire Gallery and they have all worked well and still look new

Too early to tell yet but here are my first impressions after a week of using the microwave. For the pros, the microwave itself is very quiet during operation and the exhaust fan is more powerful that I expected. The only con I have right now is the metal is very thin. During installation and during use it sounds very tinny. With all manufactures trying to save money, the materials feel cheap for a $500 microwave range hood.
